I have really been missing this blogging stuff. So what have I been doing instead? Well yesterday I demand fed Pebble 8 times in 8 hours. When I wasnt doing that I was expressing or cuddling the little darling to sleep. This is all working towards successful and simple breast feeding. I hope to join the world outside my lounge room soon. For now the cuddles make it all worth it.

ReplyDeleteAround 3 weeks and again at 6 weeks be prepared for a few days of cluster feeding, it feels like they never stop feeding - but it's totally normal, she's just on a growth spurt and increasing your supply so don't freak out that you haven't got enough milk(lots of mothers do!).
Enjoy you breastfeeding relationship with your beautiful girl, it is so rewarding.
PS. Miss seeing new blog posts on my reader from you, but I'm glad that you're absent for a very good reason hehe :)
Kylie, just wanted to say that I was in exactly the same position with the Bebito. Keep at it - we got the hang of it (both of us) eventually and he's still at it 16 months later! Enjoy all your cuddles, there's nothing in the world like it. Thinking of you! xo
