Pebble, you’re ten months already – where has that time gone? Not only are you ten months old, you are ten months going on 24 months! Your a little chatter box, and babble away to anyone who will listen. You spend quite a bit of your time relaxing on your little couch, reading your favourite books and kissing and cuddling your baby. You look out the window at the magpies and talk to them through the glass.
Your super day naps are continuing, with lovely 2 to 2 1/2 hour snooze-fests letting mama get some work done. Then not once, not twice, but three times in the last week you have slept all the way from bed time to morning (8.30pmish to 7amish). WOW! The first two times mum and dad didn’t know what to do with themselves, and still woke up every hour expecting to hear your cries.
You insist on getting closer and closer to walking. You can now stand up without support for several minutes at time, just standing and chatting or playing with a toy. You have, on two separate occasions, take one step forwards before falling down to the ground. At the moment your favourite move is more of a lean-fall towards an object or person, rather than taking a step. I’ll be very surprised if this time next month you’re not taking a few steps at a time, if not running rings around us all.
You are truly a delight at the moment as you share every discovery and especially when you dance! Dancing is one of your very favourite things to do, and you start to dance at just one beat of music. Playschool music is a winner around here, and here you are grooving along – with your hands in the air like you just don’t care!
