Point and Shoot

I’m a bit cupcake obsessed lately. Here is a choc-cherry black forest inspired creation that I made for Paul’s birthday (his favourite type of cake). It’s a simple chocolate cake base, filled with cherry jam and a single black cherry, then topped with chocolate icing and chocolate flakes.



(I cheated and used a packet mix for the cake …… shhhhhhh!)

  2. Yum! I'm in charge of making my dads birthday cake this week and i'm doing something similar to you - basic choc mud recipe but with a layer of tinned cherries and sweetened cream cheese through the middle, with choc cream cheese icing....

  3. Wow I love cake. My husband is on a huge cleansing type diet at the moment. There is nothing good to eat at our place, let me tell ya!!!! lol I think I need to cook some cake today. cheers Margo xx
