Driving into the city to meet the girls.
A favourite song on the radio. Loud.
Black satin peep toe heels.
Beads, bangles, dangling earrings.
The late afternoon rays catch my sparkles…
… disco glitter splashes across the car.
Singing and dancing. I’m happy.
