Today I am so grateful to have space and time to clean my house, launder our linens, cook meals and plan my teaching ‘week’. Thanks to “Gwamaa” (new word said this morning!) for hanging with Pebble every Wednesday fortnight just so that I can get this stuff done. This is the second week of this new routine and I am LOVING it. L.O.V.E. I have never crammed so much into six hours in all my life! I am so very grateful for the help that all our family gives us.
So here are my small pleasures today – clean floors, dust free surfaces, a tidy office (ahem, actually our modest stuff-it-all-in room), not one but TWO meals cooked, an empty washing basket, clean sheets on the bed and a washing line full of linen waving happily in the sun. I never thought I’d find so much joy in these mundane things!
What are you grateful for this week?
I love the feel ans smell of washing dried by the sun. Hope I get some soon... sun and sun dried washing.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm off to change all the bedding... I love fresh sheets!
An empty washing basket? Is there such a thing? :)
ReplyDeletegreat post, isn't family wonderful. I love clean spaces too. Natasha x
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like a bit of motivation hey! I often find that if I have nothing planned or something to look forward to, it can take me all day to get things done, when I could be racing around the house and doing it in half the time!
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of not one but TWO pre-prepared meals. You must be ever so smug!!
Thanks so much for linking up today. xx
I am most grateful when our laundry basket it empty...let me tell you with seven it doesn't happen that often :)
