Pebble is really not being an independant woman right now. Fair enough too, she is only 3 weeks and 6 days old! She loves snuggles for day time sleeps. Perhaps I'm making a rod for my own back, as they say, but this is how we cope to keep sane. Couch + Pebble + Mummy = sleep.
At least she manages a few hours on her own at night. Strange but true. Anyone else have this experience? Google tells me that it's quite common.

ReplyDeleteI have done this with both my kids and they sleep fine now (for the most part!!). In fact I did this more with my little girl and she is a far more independant young thing now than my boy. You most definitely aren't creating a rod for your back. This is what mummyhood is all about.....enjoy all these snuggles as it really does fly by all too quickly. xo
