Walking to happiness

The exercise plan is in full swing. Paul was a sweetie and set up the elliptical inside for me. It’s in front of the bookshelf so that I can watch movies and TV on my laptop while I work out. I did a half hour stint yesterday and it felt good. Quite hard, considering the very little exercise I’ve done over the last few months (er… year!). But good.
Today I went for a nice long walk with a girlfriend who recently had a baby too. We stopped for a coffee and had a good natter.
Here’s Pebble and her little mate Brooklyn, both out for the count on our wintery walk.

  1. I did some wii fit (I change the chanel and watch Italian Food Safari while I exercise), but was so annoyed when I weighed in at Weight Watchers this week and had gained weight. Third week in a row!

    I need a bit of a kick-start I think!

  3. Ooh... on Friday i spent five hours pushing Flynn around the zoo with some girls from my mothers group. We have an open range zoo with a 6km walking trail ( with hills and everything! )so by the time we stopped at a few animals, ate lunch, fed the babies umpteen times and got lost once or twice i was exhausted!
